Richard Guy and Gilly Metherell, our founders, were visionaries and pioneers who more than two decades ago were responsible for challenging and providing the alternative to 'factory farming'. They still own and control the company and take a personal interest in seeing that we deliver the promises we make to our customers.
We deal with the livestock and food production concerns that the public do know about AND the ones they don't know about. We are the serious alternative. Not for people who SAY they are concerned about food quality and animal welfare but for the discerning customers who actually ARE concerned about these issues.

 Put not your trust in supermarketsSupermarkets' constant battle for market share and their soothing lines about value, every little helping decry the fact that they created factory farming and that their price pressure on producers was, and still is, responsible for creating and supporting the worst of farming practice.
We do not supply supermarkets to avoid their bullying tactics. Meat is the only product people buy which requires another living creature on the planet to have lived and died. Supermarkets cannot be trusted with this.
